Before Practice
Always prepare for practice the evening before. Have your gear in order and ready to go for the following day. Think about the importantance of bringing the appropriate attitute (mental approach) to succeed to the next days practice. Athletes need to bring water, a basketball, basketball shoes, show up wearing practice gear with white socks, and the proper mental approach. The gear consists of shorts, reversable jerseys, white socks, and a pair of black basketball shoes. The swift pacing of our practices will demand you bring a hunger to the court. A truly driven basketball player will practice the drills on the days the club isn't practicing. They will also get the best results!

Practice
To get truly good at something one must focus on the process rather than the destination. Practice is more important than any games we play! The Part Whole Method is instituted at every practice. This simply takes the entire game of basketball and breaks it into smaller comprehensive parts. The game of basketball is very competitive, so I will manufacture competitive situations throughout practice. There are many game situations a basketball player must be able to adapt to in a split second, so swift pacing integrated with critical thinking will be integrated thorughout practice. Cultivating mental quickness (anticipation) can help athletes compensate for a lack of physical quickness and make quick players that much more so. Practice will be dedicated to technique and form, that will eventually become a habit that transfers to game situations. All drills are performed at game like conditions. Forming proper habits early will make for better basketball players in the future. I'm committed to drill diversification in an attempt to keep the learning of crucial fundamentals fresh for the athletes. I'm always trying to read my players throughout the practice in an attempt to keep them totally engaged. During our practice scrimmages our players will be held accountable for implementing the drills in a game like setting.
